What does pain all over the abdomen indicate?
Pain throughout the abdomen may suggest conditions like food poisoning, intestinal obstruction, or an obstructed/irreducible hernia. People who have had previous abdominal surgeries such as a hysterectomy or caesarean may also experience pain due to adhesions (bands of scar tissue), known as adhesive colic.

Upper abdominal pain is commonly caused by gastritis, gallstones, or occasionally pancreatitis
What does pain around the umbilicus (belly button) mean?
Pain in this area may be due to an umbilical hernia, infection at the umbilical site, or food poisoning.
What does lower abdominal pain indicate?
Pain in the lower abdomen is often linked to urinary tract infections (UTI) or acute appendicitis.
What does pain spreading from the back to the front suggest?
Pain radiating from the back to the front of the abdomen could indicate kidney stones or pancreatic inflammation.
